Understanding the Father’s Love

For the last few months, I’ve felt like a fraud at church. I felt like I was just ticking all the boxes, but really grappling with the father’s love aspect, as my relationship with my earthly father is not great. 

In one of the sessions at the Face to Face conference, Tim Hall called me up to the front to be filled with God's presence and it was wonderful. Later that day I was worshiping and I watched as a Father in our church walked from his seat to sit with his daughter where he wrapped his arm around her, just resting it on her shoulder. In that moment I realized that’s what the father’s love looks like and God showed me he’s been there holding my shoulder when I thought no one was there.
