WEEK 1: CONSECRATION & PROTECTION
James 4:7 Submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you

1. Increase in hunger, love & passion for Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit. Lord, please awaken our spirits and stir up desire for You & your purposes in our region.

2. Consecration, holiness. We lay down apathy, distraction, sin, disappointments, excuses, agendas . . . Lord, show me specifically what I need to lay down, where repentance is needed. We surrender our time, talents, resources.

3. Positioning as prayer warriors. We fix our eyes on Jesus and the authority he has given us over every work and obstacle of the enemy. Teach us to use our spiritual weapons, especially the shield of faith and Your mighty Word. We take our position in the “Tortoise Formation” and we move forward together.

4. Resist the enemy: Father, Your word says, submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)  So, we submit ourselves to you again. Having submitted to you Lord, I do as your word directs. I resist the devil: all his pressures, his attacks, his deceptions, every instrument or agent he would seek to use against my family. I resist him, drive him from us and exclude him from us in the name of Jesus. 
   
   Specifically, I reject:
   - Every form of darkness & every influence of the occult.
   - Every spirit of witchcraft
   - Every spirit of rebellion.
   - Every spirit of religion and control.
   - Every spirit of infirmity: infections, malignancies, viruses, pain, inflammation, degenerative disease and allergies.
   - Every spirit and thought of depression and heaviness, confusion, stress, anxiety, negativity and deception.
   - Every spirit and thought of death.
   - Every spirit and thought of accusation and condemnation.
   - Every spirit and thought of hopelessness and unbelief.   

I thank you that through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, we have passed out from under the curse and entered into the blessing of Abraham, whom You blessed in all things. (Galatians 3:13-14, Genesis 24:1)
We receive our shield of victory! (Psalm 18:35)
